Step 1

Start with clean, dry hair that has been pre-blow dried into waves. Section hair horizontally into two parts. Section the top half into two with the Denman Pin Tail Comb Black 212mm and clip with sectioning clips.

Step 2

Use the Denman Large Cushion 100% Natural Boar Bristle Brush to pull back hair into a tight low pony tail at the nape of the neck securing with a double pinned elastic.

Step 3

Create a side part and section out some hair around the face for soft texture. Take large sections and gently backcomb underneath using the Denman Pin Tail Comb Black 212mm. Repeat on the other side.

Step 4

Leave the front section out and gently brush remaining hair to join the pony tail using the Denman Medium Cushion 100% Natural Boar Bristle, securing with a double pinned elastic.

Step 5

Use the Denman Pin Tail Comb Black 212mm to tug on the hair above the pony to create volume and accentuate the shape.

Step 6

Backcomb pony tail for volume with the Denman Small Cushion 100% Natural Boar Bristle Brush. Wrap a small piece of hair around the pony and pin to conceal the elastic, follow by wrapping a larger piece of hair around the pony.
